CHICAGO — Chicago State women's soccer announced today its 2022 spring schedule, per head coach Mario Felix, who was hired on March 1 as the program's fourth head coach.
"We are really excited to be able to face someone in a different kit this spring, especially within the short timeframe we've had to train as a team," Felix said. "There's been a lot of progress in terms of establishing a foundation and a demanding training environment for the ladies."
The Cougars will open at Northern Illinois on March 26 at 12 p.m. in DeKalb. They then will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 9 for a doubleheader at Western Michigan, taking on Ferris State at 2:00 p.m. and Western Michigan at 3:00 p.m.
The spring schedule concludes with an April 23 trip to Purdue Northwest, a 12:00 p.m. start.
"I'm really excited to continue to grow and use this spring as a development phase for Chicago State women's soccer," Felix said.

Chicago State University Athletics is comprised of 15 intercollegiate teams involving over 150 student-athletes that compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and volleyball. Chicago State volleyball recorded a historic season in 2021, with Yanlis Feliz becoming CSU's first volleyball All-American and head coach Tony Trifonov earning selection as WAC Coach of the Year.
