SPRINGBORO, Ohio — The Chicago State men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Wright State Invitational by Joes Landscaping on Tuesday, finishing 13th in the 13-team field at Heatherwoode Golf Club. The Cougars posted a three-round total of +75, opening with a +12 in Round 1 before adding scores of +30 and +33 over the final two rounds.
Chicago State was led by
Kaleb Lambert, who earned a T40 finish at +10 behind rounds of even par, +8, and +2.
Jayden Brar and
Sahil Nathoo followed with matching +22 totals to tie for 76th, while
Jose Monge (+25) and
Mason Fears (+29) completed the team scoring.
Theo Hustler also competed in the team lineup, finishing 91st with rounds of +9, +11, and +17 for a +38 total.
Competing as an individual,
Thomas Castellanos posted rounds of +11, +10, and +12 to finish at +33.
