CJ Ray, a 6-foot-6 native of Four Oaks, N.C., has been named to the 2025–26 Northeast Conference Men's Basketball Third Team All-Conference, the league announced today. The honor comes in Ray's first season with the Cougars, where he made an immediate impact as one of the NEC's most versatile and productive forwards.
Ray joined Chicago State and quickly became a key contributor on both ends of the floor. His combination of size, shooting ability, and physicality helped elevate the Cougars in their second year competing in the NEC.
