Cougar Men's Cross Country Compete at Bradley Intercollegiate

PEORIA, Ill. - The Chicago State men's cross country team closed out the September portion of the 2025 season with the Bradley Intercollegiate Championship on Friday evening. The Cougars had six runner compete in the 8K distance and were one of 26 competing teams. 

Collins Kuyo continues to show great improveent in his freshman season after his second staight top finish for Chicago State. He was the top finishing Cougar who finished 48th out of 239 runners with a time of 26:47.80. Jacob Draaisma continues to show promise in his freshman season as well to finish 57th overall with a 27:19.80. Dean Solomon finished with a 29:44.40 to finish in the top three for the Cougars. Jason Arteaga finished fourth overall for the Cougars finishing his 8K in 32:34.80. Trevon Prince finished in 32:56.30 for his 8K personal best. Jaden Laster rounded out the Cougars finishers with a 40:46.50. 

The Chicago State men's cross country team will now have a month break from their schedule. The Cougars return to action on October 17 back at Bradley for the Bradley Pink Classic.
