TYRONE, Pa. - The Chicago State University men's cross country team concluded the 2025 season on Saturday morning after competing at the NEC Cross Country Championships at Saint Francis University. The Cougars were led by top finisher Dennis Kirui who led the Cougars on the day.
Kirui finished 25th overall for the Cougars with a 27:07.60 to be the head leader for the Cougars. Fellow freshman
Jacob Draaisma was the second Chicago State finisher with a time of 28:16.80 to finish 47th. Not far behind was
Collins Kuyo with a 28:22.50 time for a 50th place finish.
Dean Solomon finished 60th place with a 28:57.60. While
Trevon Prince finished with a 35:41.70 to round out the finishes for the Cougars.Â
The Cougars finish the season with 10th place finish at the NEC Championships and will look forward to next season in 2026.Â
