Tankersley delivered back-to-back strong performances, showcasing his scoring ability and versatility:
- At Minnesota (Nov. 18): 16 points, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 rebound
- At Iowa (Nov. 20): 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists
