Box Score The Chicago State volleyball team closed out play at the Capital Credit Union Classic hosted by Green Bay with a 3-0 loss to the University of Minnesota at the Kress Events Center in Green Bay. The Cougars finish the non-conference season with a 4-8 record heading into Northeast Conference play.
The Gophers, who just upset defending national champion and top-ranked Texas, got by the Cougars 25-17, 25-15 and 25-18.
Patrycja Lagida led Chicago State with nine kills and
Karly Klaer added eight.
Andrea Calderon had nine digs while
Wiktoria Zagumny had 20 assists and eight digs.
The Cougars will open NEC play on the road October 4-5, traveling to New Britain, Connecticut to face Central Connecticut State at 5 p.m. CT Friday and at 12 p.m. CT Saturday.Â
