CHICAGO, Ill. - The Chicago State University volleyball team closed its home schedule with senior day against the Saint Francis Red Flash. The Cougars fought hard against one of the top teams in the NEC but fell 3-0. The Cougars will take this games momentum into their final conference series of the season next weekend. Leah Linares Castro for senior day.
The Cougars hung in the first set battling through the game but could not find the end and fell 25-22. were led by
Zeynep Ertam on the afternoon with eight kills and also had four block.
Graci Littlejohn led the Cougars with six blocks. Ertam and
Tarcy Mayah also added four blocks for the Cougars.
Leah Linares Castro led with 12 assists and libero
Alyssa Ferreira led Chicago State with12 digs, with
Nayella George adding eight.
Chicago State will return to action on Friday November 14 as they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to battle with the Mercyhurst Lakers. First serve is set for 5:00 p.m. (CT).
