Sports Information
Sports played in high school: Competed in both track and field and volleyball throughout high school. As a freshman, I made history by becoming the first in my school’s track and field program to qualify for the state championship and earn a placement a milestone that set the tone for the rest of my athletic career.
Individual Sports Honors or Rankings: At Iowa Western, I earned Academic All-Region honors and consistently made the Dean’s List throughout my time there, reflecting my commitment to both academics and athletics.
What is your favorite sports memory? One of my favorite sports memories was making history with my team by winning our conference and earning a spot in the NCAA tournament. It was a moment of pride, unity, and hard work paying off.

What is your dream job? Pro Volleyball Player
Why did you choose Chicago State? I chose Chicago State because it felt like the best fit for me. I really appreciate the culture the university offers and the strong sense of team environment. It’s a place where I feel I can grow both athletically and personally.
Do you have a sports hero- who and why? I consider Serena Williams my sports hero because she paved the way for Black women in sports, especially tennis, breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes. Her strength, determination, and resilience both on and off the court are truly inspiring, and she motivates me to push through challenges in my own athletic journey.
What is your favorite hobby outside of sports? Outside of volleyball, my favorite hobbies are sewing and reading my bible
What is something you can brag about yourself besides your athletic accomplishments? My growing relationship with God. My faith has become the foundation for how I carry myself as an athlete.

How would you describe yourself when you're competing? Focused. Relentless. Driven. God fearing
What is your favorite food? Indian food
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chipotle
What or who motivates you to work hard? God motivates me to work hard. I know He has a purpose for my life, and that pushes me to keep going, even when things get tough. I trust that everything I’m working toward is part of His bigger plan, and that keeps me grounded, focused, and grateful. One verse that keeps me inspired is Philippians 4:13 — 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Hard work is the elixir for excellence.

What is your go-to song at Karaoke night? Killing me softly with his song by the Fugees
Do you play musical instrumentals: I played the viola from elementary school through high school, and it’s still something I enjoy today. It’s been a creative and calming outlet alongside my athletic life.
Where would you like to see yourself in 10 years? In 10 years, I see myself thriving in a career I’m passionate about, using my platform to inspire the next generation, especially young girls who look like me. I want to be successful not just in my work, but also in my personal life, surrounded by love, purpose, and peace. Whether it’s in sports, fashion, or giving back to my community, I want to be a light wherever I go.
