Episode 41 of the Chi State Pod features Bryce Johnson, a freshman guard on the Chicago State men's basketball team.
Johnson came to Chicago State on a long path from Yakima, Washington to San Antonio to Orlando and finally, to the Windy City. He burst onto the scene, winning CSU's Midnight Madness dunk contest in October before turning into one of the Cougars' top scorers in November. But Johnson's season hit a snag when a fractured ankle sidelined him for all of December. He has since returned and is riding the wave of his first college season with Chicago State.
