Inclement Weather Cancels CSU Baseball’s Home Opener

CHICAGO – Chicago State baseball's 2018 home opener against Valparaiso at Cougar Stadium, scheduled for later this afternoon, has been cancelled due to inclement weather that is coming to the Chicagoland area and will/not be rescheduled this season.

The new home opener for the Green and White will take place on March 27 against Northwestern with the first pitch set for 6 p.m.

CSU returns to action tomorrow evening with a mid-week contest at Dozer Park in downstate Peoria versus host Bradley that starts at 6 p.m.
