Preview: WAC Men's Basketball Tournament

CHICAGO, IL- Chicago State Men's basketball team is heading to the Western Athletic Conference Tournament as the #6 seed. They will facing off the # 3 seed Seattle University on Thursday, March 12th at 5pm CDT (7pm PDT).

The 2015 WAC Basketball Tournament returns to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the fifth year in a row. The tournament will be held March 12-14.

The Cougars are facing a Redhawks squad that went 14-14 overall and 7-7 in the WAC this season. They faced each other twice in the regular season with a Seatlle University 75-67 win at Jones Convocation Center (Chicago, IL.), January 22nd. They had a rematch again at KeyArena in Seattle and the Redhawks completed the regular season sweep with a 53-33 win on February 12th.

Coach Dildy and the Cougars had a early morning pratice to get ready for the Redhawks of Seattle University.

The winner of the Chicago State/Seattle University game will play winner of the #2 Missouri-Kansas City vs. #7 texas-Pan American game on Friday, March 13 at 10:30pm CDT (8:30pm PDT).

The WAC Championship is set for Saturday, March 14th at 8:00pm CDT (6:00pm PDT) on ESPNU.

The Cougars are set to leave the Jones Convocation center at 3:30pm CDT. Come on by and show your Cougar spirit and set them off in victory to Vegas.
