DICKSON, Tenn. - The Chicago State men's golf team wrapped up the first two rounds of the Austin Peay Intercollegiate on Monday, finishing the opening day in
16th place at +46 as they head into tomorrow's final round at Greystone Golf Club.
The Cougars were led by
Kaleb Lambert, who sits at
+7 after rounds of
+3 and +4, placing him in a tie for 40th. Close behind is
Jose Monge, who posted scores of
+10 and +1 to finish the day at
+11.
Jayden Brar matched that total with rounds of
+10 and +3, also ending at
+13.
Chicago State's lineup saw steady contributions throughout the roster.
Theo Hustler carded rounds of
+13 and +10, while
Sahil Nathoo delivered a strong second round with a
+2 after an opening
+16, showing resilience.
The Cougars will look to climb the leaderboard during Tuesday's final round as they continue to build momentum this spring.
