ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Men's track & field high jumper
Earnest Davenport represented the Chicago State men's track & field team on Friday evening competing at the Silverston Invitiational hosted by the University of Michigan. Davenport continues to compete after his runner-up finish at the NEC Indoor Championships last weekend competing for a shot at the NCAA National Championships in mid-March.
Davenport entered the evening with a 2.11m seed which was the second high entry mark of the competition. He claimed the win place leaping 2.05m in a field of ten jumpers. It is Davenports third meet win of the season.
