CHICAGO, Ill. — Chicago State University has officially announced its 2025–26 men's basketball schedule, featuring a dynamic mix of high-profile non-conference matchups and a full slate of conference competition. The Cougars, led by Head Coach
Landon Bussie, will face opponents from across the country as they continue to build momentum and elevate the program's national profile.
The season tips off on
November 3 with a road game against
DePaul at Wintrust Arena, followed by early tests against
Saint Louis,
Butler,
Minnesota, and
Iowa. The Cougars host its home season opener on
November 15 to host
UIC at the Jones Convocation Center, marking their first home appearance of the season.
Other notable non-conference contests include:
- South Carolina State (Dec. 1) – Education Day game at 11:00 AM CT
- Loyola Chicago (Dec. 14) – Crosstown rivalry at Gentile Arena
- Indiana (Dec. 21) – Historic matchup at Assembly Hall
Conference play begins on
January 2 with a home game against
Wagner College, followed by
LIU on
January 4. The Cougars will face familiar foes in home-and-away series throughout January and February, including matchups with
Saint Francis University,
Mercyhurst,
Stonehill,
Le Moyne,
FDU, and
Central Connecticut State.
Senior Night is scheduled for
February 21 against
Central Connecticut State, honoring the program's graduating student-athletes in the final home game of the season.
