BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Chicago State sophomore
Nayella George has been named a Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performer after a strong showing on the court last week.
George delivered an all-around performance, finishing with a .300 hitting percentage while averaging 2.17 kills, 2.42 points, and 3.33 digs per set. Her consistency and presence on both offense and defense played a key role in the Cougars' performance throughout the week.
This recognition highlights George's growing impact as a vital part of the Chicago State lineup as the Cougars continue through NEC competition.

Chicago State hits the road this week, traveling to Madison, Wisconsin to compete in the University of Wisconsin Tournament. The Cougars will open play against Green Bay on Thursday, September 4 at 4 p.m., before wrapping up the weekend against tournament host Wisconsin on Friday, September 5 at 7 p.m.
