Katy, Texas - The Chicago State women's golf team shot a 316 in the final round to close action at the Women in Golf tournament in fifth place on Tuesday.
Gia Lamba led the Cougars in the final day of competition shooting a 77 to finish at 12 over par 225 while Aarushi Bhanot also closed at 12-over par after shooting a 77 in the third round. The duo finished tied for sixth in the individual standings.
Chicago State finished one stroke out of fourth place and just eight strokes out of third place.
The Cougars will rest and prepare for the 2025 NEC Championships to be held at Kingsmill Resort Golf Course April 11-13.
