Chicago State Women’s Golf Finishes T-5 at Arcis HBCU Championship

WESTON, Fla. — The Chicago State women's golf team turned in a consistent three-round performance to finish tied for fifth at the Arcis HBCU Championship, held February 22–23 at Weston Hills Country Club. The Cougars posted a tournament total of 814 (+94), highlighted by a strong second round and tightly grouped scoring throughout the lineup.

Chicago State opened the event with a 323, followed by its best round of the week with a 319 on Sunday afternoon. The Cougars closed the championship with a 172 in the final round.

Final Round (Feb. 23)
Chicago State delivered one of the most balanced scorecards of the field in Monday's final round.  
Round Two (Feb. 22)
The Cougars' best full round came Sunday afternoon, where they posted a 319 behind two rounds in the 70s.  
Opening Round (Feb. 22)
Chicago State opened the championship with a 323, led by a pair of 80s.  
Consistent Team Effort
Across all three rounds, the Cougars showcased depth and reliability, with every player contributing competitive scores and multiple rounds in the low 80s or better. Chicago State's second-round 319 marked one of its strongest team performances of the season.

Chicago State returns to action on March 1-3 as they travel to Gainesville, Florida to compete in the Lady Bison Invite.
