Chicago State Competes at Pacesetter Invitational at Indiana State

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  - The Chicago State track and field team sent a contingent to the Pacesetter Invitational hosted by Indiana State on Saturday.

The Cougars and five top-15 finished highlighted by a top-10 finish in the 1500m by Dennis Kiri with a time of 3:56.23, which placed him in eight in the event.

Earnest Davenport continues to grow in the high jump also earning a top-10 finish with a jump of 1.95m while Santa Ross took ninth place in the triple jump with a jump of 10.23m.

Chicago State had a pair of personal bests in the men's 800m with Maxwell Mitchell running a 2:06.65 while Corey Dickson ran a 2:14.76

Morgan Madison also posted a personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.18 to place 11th.
