PUERTO RICO - The Chicago State women's golf team took runner-up honors at the Alabama State Hornet Puerto Rico Invitational. Gia Lamba, for the second time in the last three tournaments, took home a top-3 finish to lead the Cougars.
Lamba closed the tournament with a 7-over par 219 good for a third-place finish while teammate Begona Perez shot an 11-over par 227 on the tournament to take fifth place. Aarushi Bhanot rounded out the top-10 finishers for CSU closing in ninth place with a two-day score of 230 which was 14-over par.
Faith McKinney closed in 15th place (238) to close the scoring for the Cougars. Full results can be found HERE
