CHICAGO, Ill. — Chicago State women's golf has been picked
12th in the 2026 NEC Women's Golf Preseason Poll, as announced by the league office. The Cougars enter the spring with a renewed focus and a competitive schedule designed to build momentum heading into championship season.
While the preseason ranking provides early context for the conference landscape, Chicago State aims to outperform expectations behind a developing roster and a spring slate that offers both challenge and opportunity.
The Cougars open their Spring 2026 campaign at the
ARCIS HBCU Championship, held
February 21–24, marking the first of several multi-day tournaments on the schedule. Chicago State will then compete in:
- Lady Bison Invite – March 1–5
- ASU Spring Classic – March 9–10
- Women's In Golf Foundation Collegiate Golf Championship – March 29–April 1
- NEC Women's Golf Championship – April 16–19
- PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship – May 4–6
The spring stretch provides the Cougars with consistent tournament play leading into the NEC Championship, where the team looks to peak at the right time.
