DICKSON, Tenn. - The Chicago State women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Starks Invitational on Tuesday finishing in second place off the strength of medalist honors for Gia Lamba who posted a two-day score of 155 (75-80—155). The Cougars closed tournament action with a total of 670 (337-333—670), just nine stokes off Tennessee State.
Aarushi Bhanot tied for second place shooing a two-day total of 161 (81-80—161). Faith McKinney rebounded in the second round and shot 8 strokes better than she did in the opening round.
The Cougars will stay on the road and head to Florida to play in the Purdue Fort Wayne Tournament in Hammock Beach.
