CHICAGO - The Chicago State men's and women's track team had a solid day of action at the Wisconsin Midwest Invite, highlighted by eight top-10 finishes including runner up honors in the 300m from Rachel Whyte (39.54)
Freshman Jaden Laster posted PR in the 600m running a 1:30.34 which was good for a fifth place finish while other highlights included a 2-3 finish for the Cougars in the 60m hurdles, with Raymond Oriakhi (8.02) pacing the Cougars with a second-place finish, followed by Mychah Spells (8.23) in third place.
Weronika Stanczak represented the Cougars in the 1000m and placed 13th with a time of 3:12.57.
