Chicago State Men’s Golf Places Fifth at Butler Spring Invitational

Junior Eduardo Falcon led the CSU men's golf team at the Butler Spring Invitational
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Chicago State men's golf concluded the Butler Spring Invitational today at the Windsor Parks Golf Course with a fifth-place finish after carding a score of 672 (337-335).
 
Capturing the team title was IUPUI as it recorded a score of 616 (317-299) and Albany State's Tyler Hanson claimed medalist honors thanks to posting a score of 142 (73-69).
 
Junior Eduardo Falcon (Sabinas, Mexico/St. Anthony) was the top finisher for the Green and White as he finished in a tie for 17th place with IUPUI's Kyle Miller with a score of 165 (80-85).
 
Fellow juniors Austin Dobrescu (Brandon, Canada/Vincent Massey) [85-82] and Ram Roque (Valencia City, Bukidnon, Philippines/Bukidnon Faith Christian School) [85-82] each carded a tally of 167 which put them in a four-way tie for 21st place with Thomas Urciuoli of Fairfield and Butler's Ricky Kuiper.
 
Junior Adrian Torres (Madrid, Spain/I.E.S. Gustavo Adolfo Becquer) [87-89] and senior Cameron Boomer (Glasgow, Scotland/Calderglen) [90-86] tied for 30th place as both golfers turned in scores of 176.
 
The Cougars will be idle for the next three weeks before heading to Nashville, Tenn., for the Tennessee State Big Blue Invitational on April 7-8.
