CSU Men’s Basketball Raises Over $1,000 for Hurricane Relief

CHICAGO - The Chicago State men's basketball team hosted an exhibition game today versus the Valparaiso Crusaders at the Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center in an effort to raise money to aid the victims of Hurricane Irma. The Cougars went on to raise over $1,000 to send to the Luther World Relief Organization.

"Here at Chicago State, we are trying our best to help as much as we can. We raised over a thousand dollars that we hope will help those affected by this tough time," Interim Athletic Director and Head Coach Tracy Dildy said following the game

The Cougars will open their 2017-18 season on November 10th at Iowa with a start time of 8 p.m.
