This Week: Chicago State women's soccer opens a three-game road swing to conclude the regular season this week with a pair of Western Athletic Conference contests on the west coast that will be broadcast live on the WAC Digital Network. The Green and White takes on Utah Valley in Orem, Utah on Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. Two days later, the Cougars travel to Seattle for a Saturday night battle at 9 p.m.

Scouting the Cougars: CSU is currently 1-13 overall and has a 0-4 record in conference play after closing its homestand at Kroc Stadium last week with defeats to CSU Bakersfield (0-6) and Grand Canyon (0-9). Freshman midfielder Mariela Alba (Hanover Park, Ill./Bartlett) leads the team with seven points and three goals, while. sophomore midfielder Alejandra Alonso (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Hoffman Estates) and freshman forward Madison Berg (Coatesville, ind./Cascade) are tied for the team lead in assists with two. Junior goalkeeper Gabby Klemp (Muskegon, Mich./Reeths-Puffer) has produced a team-best .636 save percentage and sophomore goalkeeper Audra Wisehart (Sandusky, Ohio/Huron) is the team's saves leader with 77.

Scouting the Wolverines: Utah Valley heads into Thursday's game with a record of 7-6-2 on the season, including a 1-2-1 record against WAC opponents after snapping a three-game losing streak last weekend with a 1-0 overtime win at UT Rio Grande Valley and a 2-2 tie at New Mexico State. Junior forward Alexis Patterson is the top scorer on the Wolverines with five goals on the season. The team's assist lead is held by redshirt sophomore forward Breanna McCarter and freshman midfielder Breanna DeWaal with three helpers, while freshman goalkeeper Brooklyn Nielsen has recorded a .843 saves percentage to go along with a 5-2-2 record, 43 saves and a 0.71 goal against average.

Scouting the Redhawks: Seattle brings a season record of 9-5-1 into this week's action and currently leads the WAC with a perfect 4-0 mark. SU earned a pair of conference road wins last weekend at New Mexico State (2-1) and UT Rio Grande Valley (2-0) that extended its winning streak to five. Senior forward Brie Hooks has amassed a team-best six goal and 13 points on the season for the Redhawks. Sophomore defender Hannah Carrouthers and freshman midfielder Ayana Robles have each tallied three assists to tie for top honors on the team, and redshirt freshman goalkeeper Ashley Routh leads SU with 24 saves and four shutouts on the year.

WAC Leader: Wisehart currently ranks first in the WAC in saves per game with an average of 5.92 per contest while her 77 saves has her sitting in second place in the league.

Up Next: The Cougars close out their regular season schedule on Oct. 29 in their WAC finale at UMKC with the opening kickoff set for 11 a.m.
