Litchfield, Ariz. - The Chicago State women's golf team finished the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship in seventh place, finishing the tournament with a 999 (330-333-336).Â
Taneka Sandiford (Nassau, Bahamas/St. John's College High School)Â posted the best score for the Cougars with a 77 in round three.
Tali Letoi (Lakeside, Calif./El Capitan)Â finished the tournament in 34th place (248=82-81-85).
Pia Serrano (San Antonio, Texas/Antonian College Preparatory)Â had a 254 (81-86-87) while
Fernanda Valdes Solis (Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico/Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey) scored a 257 (84-86-87).
TiAnna Ford (Roy, Wash./Yelm)Â finished with a 263 (84-92-87).
New Mexico State won the team title (871=292-285-294). Kacey Dalpes of New Mexico State won the individual competition with a 216 (73-71-72).
