TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- In the final regular season tournament, the Cougars finished in 13th place at the Indiana State Spring Invitational with a final round team score of 348. The event was played at the par-72, 6,055-yard layout of The Country Club of Terre Haute.
Indiana State won the event by posting rounds of 301 and 308 for a two-day total of 609. Individually, sophomore from ISU, Marissa Uradomo finished first with rounds of 72 and 76 (148)
In a tie for 43rd place Fernanda Valdes Solis (Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico/Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey) posted a round of 83 with a tournament tally of 164. Pia Serrano (San Antonio, Texas/Antonian College Preparatory) finished today with a score of 83 which was good enough for a 168 and a tie for 56th. Taneka Sandiford (Nassau, Bahamas/St. John's College High School) shot another 90 to finish in a tie for 78th place. Rounding out the team score was TiAnna Ford (Roy, Wash./Yelm) with a round of 92 and 81st position.
The Cougars will head to the 2015 Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship on April 20-22 at the Wigwam Golf Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.
