The Green and White (2-1) came out a little sluggish in the opening 20 minutes despite holding a 44-29 halftime advantage, but stepped up in the second stanza with a 61-35 margin while 10 of the 12 CSU players that played scored.

Junior Trayvon Palmer (Milwaukee, Wis./Brown Deer) led the Cougar contingent with his second double-double of the season with a season-best 22 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. Palmer recorded two more career highs of four blocked shots and four steals while shooting 9-of-12 from the floor and drained all four of his free throw attempts.
