Samuel McKinney (St. Charles, Iowa/Interstate 35) (St. Charles, Iowa/Interstate 35/Southwest CC) led the Chicago State men's cross country team on Friday (Sept. 14) at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships University Division race.
McKinney finished the race in 30:03 in 64
th place in the event hosted by Illinois State.
Sophomore
Brandon Skelding (Black River Falls, Wis./Black RIver Falls) (Black River Falls, Wis./Black River Falls) was second best for the Cougars, finishing the 8K course in 30:06.
As a team, Chicago State finished in seventh (191).
The Cougars return to the course on Sept. 29 at Loyola's Sean Earl Lakefront Invite.
