CSU Men's Cross Country Starts 2012 At UIC

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Chicago State men's cross country opened the 2012 campaign on Saturday (Sept. 1) afternoon in the UIC Home Opener.
 
Senior Samuel McKinney (St. Charles, Iowa/Interstate 35) (St. Charles, Iowa/Interstate 35/Southwestern CC) led the Cougars with a time of 25:06.6, good for 38^th place. Sophomore Brandon Skelding (Black River Falls, Wis./Black RIver Falls) (Black River Falls, Wis./Black RIver Falls) was right behind McKinney (25:10.5). The race was a distance of 4.1 miles.
 
Chicago State returns to the course on Sept. 7 in the NIU Open.
