Chicago State men's basketball (3-8) heads to the Great Northwest to play at Pac-12 foe Oregon State (6-2) on Sunday (Dec. 16) at 4:00 p.m. PT. It's the second consecutive season Oregon State and Chicago State have hooked up after Oregon State made a trip to the Jones Convocation Center last season. The game can be seen on the Pac-12 Network. JB Long and Lamar Hurd are on the call.
SERIES HISTORY -
Oregon State leads the all-time NCAA Division I series with Chicago State 3-0. The Beavers won a 92-66 decision on Dec. 21 of last season.
DESTINATION: WAC 2013-14 -
Chicago State has accepted an invitation to join the Western Athletic Conference. The Cougars will join the WAC for the 2013-14 season.
SUPER PAC -
Sunday will be Chicago State's first contest at a Pac-12 (then Pac-10) school since falling 75-51 at Cal on Dec 8, 2006.

Clarke Rosenberg (Skokie, Ill./Evanston Township) averaged just over 10 minutes per game in Chicago State's first four contests. In the fifth he was inserted into the starting lineup and he hasn't looked back. Since then he is averaging 11.6 points per game. He dished a career-high five assists against DePaul.
DOUBLE TROUBLE -
Junior
Matt Ross (Dixon, Ill./Dixon) had a streak of two consecutive double-doubles snapped last game when he scored five points and grabbed four rebounds against Alabama State. Previously, he went for 20 points and 10 rebounds against DePaul and 10 points with 12 rebounds at SIUE.
TIME TO REBOUND -
The Cougars' 48 rebounds at SIUE were the most by Chicago State in a single game since grabbing 49 at DePaul on Dec. 2010, 2012.
TURN, TURN, TURN -
Chicago State forced 30 UW-Green Bay turnovers in the season opener, the most during the
Tracy Dildy era at Chicago State. The Cougars then forced 25 turnovers against Concordia Chicago on Tuesday.

Chicago State's 24 assists Concordia Chicago (Nov. 13) marked the most during the
Tracy Dildy era. It also stands as the most by a Great West Conference team this year.

Quinton Pippen (Hamburg, Ark./Hamburg) is the nephew of former Chicago Bull Scottie Pippen. Not surprising, Quinton wears No. 33.

Mashawn Chamberlain (Chicago, Ill./De La Salle)'s cousin is New Orleans Hornets forward Anthony Davis. The No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft Davis was in the stands to see Chamberlain when the Cougars played at Tulane on Nov. 18.

Jamere Dismukes (Park Forest, Ill./Rich East) earned First Team All-NJCAA Region IV Division II honors at BlackHawk College.
