GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Senior Christian Wall (New Orleans, LA/John Ehret) (New Orleans, La.) scored a career-high 27 points as the Chicago State men's basketball team continued its three-game, season-closing road swing Monday night with a 74-52 defeat at host North Dakota in a Great West Conference contest at UND's Betty Englestad Sioux Center.
The Fighting Sioux improved their record to 14-14 (6-4) and the Cougars fell to 6-24 (3-8) on the year.
Wall shot 10-of-16 from the field, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, and grabbed six rebounds. Senior Carl Montgomery (Chicago, IL/Shepard) (Chicago, Ill.) added 13 points and six rebounds for the Cougars.
North Dakota was led by freshman Troy Huff's game-high 21 points and seven rebounds.
The Green and White conclude the regular season on Saturday, March 5 on the east coast with a Great West battle at NJIT beginning at 3 p.m., central time.
