CHICAGO – Chicago State men's basketball received a pair of double-double efforts from graduate student Lee Fisher (Dolton, IL/Northern Illinois) (Dolton, Ill.) and junior Jeremy Robinson (Decatur, Ill./Eisenhower) (Decatur, Ill.) as it fell to visiting Oregon State, 92-66, Wednesday night at the Emil and Patricia Jones Convocation Center.
The Beavers improved their season record to 10-2 while the Cougars dropped to 0-12 on the year.
Fisher recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds to go along with a game-high five steals and three assists, while Robinson produced a game-high 15 rebounds and 13 points. Freshman Clarke Rosenberg (Skokie, Ill./Evanston Township) (Skokie, Ill.) added 14 points and went 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
OSU had five players score in double figures, led by sophomore Devin Collier's 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field. Sophomore Roberto Nelson added 16 points, while junior Jared Cunningham added 15 points and sophomore Ahmad Starks posted 13 points with a game-leading eight assists. Junior Angus Brandt rounded out the quartet with 10 points.
The Cougars return to action this Friday night with a road contest at Cincinnati beginning at 6 p.m.
