Chicago State Men's Soccer to Host Prospect Camp on June 27

CHICAGO, Ill. — Chicago State University Men's Soccer will host a one-day Prospect Camp on Saturday, June 27, 2026, providing prospective student-athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills, compete in a game-like environment and showcase their abilities to the Cougar coaching staff.

Designed for rising high school seniors as well as freshman and sophomore college student-athletes, the camp will focus on developing fundamental technical and tactical skills while offering participants the opportunity to compete in match-format settings. The camp is intended to help players continue their development while gaining valuable exposure in a collegiate training environment.

Under the direction of Head Coach Norris Howze and the Chicago State coaching staff, participants will receive instruction and evaluation throughout the day while learning more about the expectations and opportunities associated with collegiate soccer.

Camp Details
  • Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026
  • Check-In: 8:15 a.m.
  • Coaches Meeting: 8:00 a.m.
  • Camp Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Location: Brooks Preparatory Academy, 250 E. 111th Street, Chicago, IL 60628
  • Who Can Attend: Rising high school seniors and freshman/sophomore college student-athletes

  • Cost: $150 per participant

Morning Session
  • 8:00 a.m. – Coaches Meeting
  • 8:15 a.m. – Check-In
  • 9:00 a.m. – Camp Begins / Coaches Introduction
  • 9:10 a.m. – Dynamic Warm-Up
  • 9:30 a.m. – Technical Activity
  • 10:00 a.m. – 9v9 Games
Lunch Break
  • 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon Session
  • 1:05 p.m. – Q&A with Head Coach Norris Howze and Staff
  • 1:15 p.m. – Technical Activity
  • 1:30 p.m. – 11v11 Games
  • 3:00 p.m. – Camp Concludes
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities through technical training sessions and competitive match play while receiving direct instruction from the Chicago State coaching staff. The camp is designed to provide valuable exposure and insight into the collegiate recruiting process.
