Chicago State junior Karolina Skowronska was named the NEC Women's Player of the Week and was also named as an NEC Prime Performer for last weeks performances against Indiana University and Marquette University.

Karolina Skowronska (Wroclaw, Poland) had a great week last week as she was the key point scorer for the Cougar women's tennis team. On Friday, February 27 against Indiana, Skowronska had a set advantage in her match against Indiana's Alessandra Teodosescu. Skowronska won the first set against Teodosescu by a score 7-5 and was looking to clinch the match until Indiana claimed the match win during singles play.
