CHICAGO – Chicago State University women's tennis has announced its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of fall tournaments, regional rivalries, and home matches in Chicago.
The Cougars open the season on
September 19 at the
NEC Fall Tournament in Vestal, N.Y. They continue fall play with the
ITA Regional in Urbana-Champaign (Oct. 16) and the
Northern Illinois Tournament in DeKalb (Oct. 31).
The spring dual season begins with a road test at
Western Michigan (Jan. 16), followed by a busy weekend in DeKalb that includes matchups against
Missouri (Jan. 17, neutral site) and
Northern Illinois (Jan. 17).
The Cougars then travel to
Cincinnati (Jan. 23) before hosting their first home match of the season against
Bradley (Jan. 25). January closes with a home contest versus
Western Illinois (Jan. 30).
February brings a challenging slate, highlighted by road trips to
Milwaukee (Feb. 3) and
Northwestern (Feb. 7), as well as home matches against
Illinois State (Feb. 8),
SIUE (Feb. 22), and
Indiana (Feb. 27). The month also features marquee matchups at
Kentucky (Feb. 14) and
Drake (Feb. 20), along with a neutral-site clash against
Saint Louis (Feb. 21).
March includes a mix of regional and national opponents, beginning with trips to
Marquette (Mar. 1),
Nebraska Omaha (Mar. 7),
Middle Tennessee State (Mar. 9), and a neutral match against
Pacific (Mar. 10). The Cougars return home to face
Valparaiso (Mar. 21) before embarking on an East Coast swing against
New Haven (Mar. 27),
LIU (Mar. 28), and a doubleheader in Teaneck, N.J., against
Wagner (Mar. 29, neutral) and
FDU (Mar. 29).
Chicago State closes the regular season at
Mercyhurst (Apr. 3).
Director of Tennis Keiran President shared his outlook on the season:
