KOHLER, Wis. – The Chicago State University Men's Golf team took part in the opening round of the 2025 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship this morning. The golf team will participate in the 2025 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship from May 5-7 at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin.
After the finishing the first day of play, Chicago State is currently tied for fourth place with Texas Southern University with a team score of 306. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff currently paces the field with a 291.
Chicago State was led by seniors
Payton Dunahee and
Logan Daily, who both carded a 76 respectively. Seniors
Julian Colavecchia and
Devin Kucy finished the day with a 77 each.
Zack Phelps finished with score of 80 for the round.
Play for the Cougars continues on Tuesday at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin for round two.
