MONTGOMERY - The Chicago State men's golf team opened spring action at the Alabama State Spring Invitational Feb. 16-17. The Cougars moved up three spots in the final round of the tournament, making up 20 strokes on second day action.
The Cougars were paced by Devin Kucy (80-72—152) who placed seventh in the individual standings, moving up 12 spots on the second day. Zack Phelps (80-77—157) and Julian Colavecchia (80-78—158 )also reached top 25 finishes, placing 21st and 25th, respectively.
The Cougars are back in action on March 19-20 at the Alabama State Hornet Puerto Rico Invitational.
