Junior golfer
Pablo Riveiro shot 2-over, par, par at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois to earn a second-place finish at the WIU Men's Intercollegiate hosted by Western Illinois. Riveiro earned a one-shot edge over two other golfers who finished tied for third but strokes off the pace of medalist Gaspar Glaudas who scorched the course at -10 over three rounds.
As a team, the Cougars finished seventh in the eight-team field, three strokes behind tournament host Western Illinois. Indiana Hills CC earned a 22-shot victory paced by medalist Glaudas.

The next action for the Cougars men's golf team will be April 21-24 at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship at The Shoals Golf Club - Fighting Joe Course in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
