The Chicago State men's golf team placed 12th at the Colonel Shootout hosted by Eastern Kentucky at the University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Kentucky. The tournament was the first of the fall for the Cougars who were led by Pablo Rivera who finished in a tie for 37th with a 218. He was followed by
Zack Phelps (76, 230), Collin Armistead (T79th, 234),
Logan Daily (83, 237) and
Payton Dunahee (T84, 238).

The Cougars will be back on the course Sept. 18-19 at the Valpo Fall Invitational hosted by Valparaiso University at the Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton, Indiana.
