CHICAGO, Ill. — Chicago State men's golf has been selected
11th in the 2026 Northeast Conference (NEC) Men's Golf Preseason Poll, as announced by the league office. The Cougars enter the spring determined to outperform expectations as they continue building momentum under a growing competitive foundation.
The program now turns its attention to a full Spring 2026 schedule that will test the roster across a series of regional and national events. Chicago State opens its season at the
ASU Spring Classic, held
March 9–10, marking the first of six tournaments leading into postseason play.
The Cougars' spring schedule includes:
- ASU Spring Classic – March 9–10
- Southern Intercollegiate – March 16
- Austin Peay Intercollegiate – March 23–24
- WIU Intercollegiate – April 5–6
- Wright State Invitational – April 12–13
- NEC Men's Golf Championship – April 24–26
- PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship – May 4–6
With a balanced mix of familiar regional opponents and high-level tournament fields, the spring slate provides Chicago State with consistent opportunities to sharpen its play ahead of the NEC Championship.
