Littlejohn Named Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by Game One

CHICAGO — Chicago State University volleyball senior middle blocker Gracilove Littlejohn has been named the Student-Athlete of the Week presented by Game One following her performance during the Cougars' season-opening weekend at the Seattle U Tournament.

Littlejohn provided a strong presence at the net for Chicago State as the Cougars opened the 2026 season with matches against Seattle University, Eastern Washington and North Dakota.

The senior turned in one of her top performances of the weekend against Eastern Washington, leading the Cougars with six kills while adding three blocks.

In the season opener against host Seattle U, Littlejohn anchored the Cougars at the net with four blocks, including one solo block, helping Chicago State finish with five total team blocks.

Littlejohn closed the weekend against North Dakota with three kills and two blocks assists, continuing to provide an experienced presence in the middle for the Cougars.

Her performance throughout the opening weekend earns Littlejohn the first Student-Athlete of the Week presented by Game One honor of the 2026 volleyball season.

Chicago State returns to action Sept. 3-5 at the Omaha Tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, where the Cougars will face Louisiana Tech, Western Michigan and host Omaha.
