HOMEWOOD-FLOSSMOR, Ill. – The Chicago State women's tennis team picked up its second consecutive victory with a 4-2 win over Eastern Illinois on Saturday. The Cougars earned three singles wins and picked up the doubles point en route to the victory.
The Cougars started the match well, with two solid wins in doubles. The pair of
Katarina Dukic (Belgrade, Serbia ) and
Susana Andres (Madrid, Spain) started the match well and were able to take the first victory of the day for the Cougars with a 7-5 win over EIU's Brittany Steven and Karla Contreas.
Katarina Dukic (Belgrade, Serbia ) and
Susana Andres (Madrid, Spain) cinched the doubles point with a win over EIU's Shelby Anderson and Kaitlyn Snyder, 6-4.

Diana Borodina (Moscow, Russia) continues to capitalize on her momentum as she picked up her sixth straight win with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Karla Contreas. The win moved Borodina to 5-0 at No. 2 singles and a combined 6-0 at No. 1 and No. 2 sinlges this season.
Katarina Drazic (Sarasota, Fla./Elevation Preparatory Academy) also picked up a win at No. 3 singles and moved to 5-2 on the season with a decisive 6-1, 6-2 win. Rounding out the singles victories was a 6-3, 6-3 straight sets win for
