Cougars drop match 5-2 to Eastern Illinois

DANVILLE, Ill. -- Saturday afterrnoon Chicago State (2-13)  took on Eastern Illinois (5-3) but fell 5-2 at the Danville Tennis Center.

The Cougars had two single match victories by Carynne Lloyd (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) at No. 2 and Faith Huckabee (Hazel Crest, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) at No.4 singles.

The ladies will now prepare for upcoming Western Athletic Conference action, as the Cougars travel to Las Cruces, NM to face off against Seattle, New Mexico State, and UMKC on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (March 20-22), respectively.
