The Cougars made a seamless adjustment from the indoor season to the outdoor season this past weekend at UNC-Wilmington. Long Jumper,
Kory Jackson (Blue Island, Ill./Eisenhower) finished in second place in a heavily contested competition. His jump of 7.15m leads all WAC competitors in this young 2015 outdoor season.
Landis Houston (Chicago, IL/De La Salle) also made the most of his first collegiate outdoor experience. Houston earned a respectable 3
rd place finish in the Men's Triple Jump with a mark of 13.29m.
DeShaunte Lewis (Long Beach, Calif./Long Beach Poly) finished the 1500m run in 5
th place with a time of 4:07 to help the Cougars earn significant points in this multi-scored meet.
