Carynne Lloyd (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) defeated Sydney Power 6-1, 6-7(4-7), 6-3 at No.2 Singles. Faith Huckabee (Hazel Crest, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) lost 6-2, 6-1 to Danielle Donahue. Matea Roki (Etobicoke, Ontario/Silverthorn Collegiate Institute) won her singles match defeating Sierra Nellessen 6-2, 6-2 at No.5 Singles. Marnie Perez Ochoa also defeated her opponent, Nicole Soutar, 6-4, 6-2 at No.6 Singles.

In doubles play, Matea Roki (Etobicoke, Ontario/Silverthorn Collegiate Institute) and Hanna Pangestu (Jakarta, Indonesia) fell 7-5 to Shanahan and Donahue. Faith Huckabee (Hazel Crest, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) and Lorea Gamboa (Gamiz-Fika, Spain/Larramendi Ikastola) lost their doubles match 6-2 to Power and Soutar. Carynee Lloyd and Marnie Perez Ochoa pulled together to defeat Yasmine Xantos and Rheanna Morehart at No.3 Doubles.

Chicago State Cougars fell to a 2-10 record after the loss.
