Coach
Jack Barton thoughts on the match "I'm very proud of Faith. She steps up and leads by example. When we need a win she gets and I think that put pressure on Carynne's opponent for the deciding point. Carynne had a few chances to take off with the lead having two breaks but her opponent came up with some clutch points to win the match. It was clear that the match against St. Francis wasn't lost due to a lack of effort . We came across some bad breaks having Marnie and Matea default due to injuries. The matches were very competitive. We got some bad news at the start of the season but these girls are so committed to not get discouraged. We just have to keep working hard at practice and in the gym, not get discouraged, and keep a positive attitude on and off the court."
Cougars are back in action January 30th, 2015 at Maryville College in Tennessee at 4pm
