MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Chicago State women's tennis fell 7-0 to UW-Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon in a road match for the Cougars. The event was held indoors at the Elite Sports Club – North Shore. Freshman
Carynne Lloyd (East Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) dropped a marathon contest at No. 2 singles to Dana Shannon 7-6, 3-6, 16-14.
“Carynne was down 7-3 in the third, came back to go up 9-7 before Shannon won the next three to lead 10-9,” Chicago State head coach
Jack Barton said. “Carynne won the next point on an umpire overrule. Points went back and forth until Shannon won 16-14.”

Sabrine Navarro (Melbourne, Australia/) fell 6-4, 6-2 to Brittany Skemp at No. 5 singles.
UW-Milwaukee improves to 11-8. Chicago State is now 5-16. The Cougars close out the regular season on Monday at another Horizon League member-Valparaiso. Play starts at 3 p.m.
