EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Chicago State women's tennis fell in a dual match at SIUE on Saturday (March 2) 4-0.
The two teams decided to play first to four points.
Sophomore
Marnie Perez-Ochoa (Louisville, Ky./Male) and senior
Ruta Grinvalde (Cesis, Latvia/) won at No. 2 doubles over Amanda Miller and McKenzie Thomas 8-1. It was Chicago State's only win of the day as the SIUE Cougars won the doubles points with wins at the other two doubles matches.
In singles plays, the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 matches went the way of SIUE, ending the contest by giving SIUE four points. It left the other three contests unfinished.
